Privacy Policy

Flappy Board does not collect, transmit, or share your personal information. This policy describes what data the app stores on your device and why.

What we collect

Nothing. No data is sent to General Futurics or any third party. There are no analytics, no advertising frameworks, and no crash reporting services in the app.

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally and never leaves your device:

• Bearer token — a randomly generated authentication token used to secure your board's API. Stored in the iOS Keychain.
• TLS certificate and private key — a self-signed certificate generated on your device to encrypt local network connections. Stored in the iOS Keychain.
• Board configuration — your display settings (rows, columns, fonts, colors, flip speed, and similar preferences). Stored in iCloud-synced app storage via SwiftUI's AppStorage.
• Pro license key — if you have a Pro license, your key is stored in the iOS Keychain.
• Custom branding images — if you upload header or footer images (Pro feature), they are stored in the app's local document storage on your device.

Local network

Flappy Board runs a local HTTPS server on your device so that other apps and devices on your network can send messages to your board. This server only listens on your local network and is protected by bearer token authentication and TLS encryption. No traffic is routed to or from the internet by this server.

In-app purchases

The Amateur tier is available as a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. General Futurics does not receive or store your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs the purchase transaction.

iCloud

Board configuration settings may sync across your devices via iCloud if you have iCloud enabled. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud privacy policy. General Futurics cannot access your iCloud data.

Children's privacy

Flappy Board does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
